Symptoms of Gum Disease

- Tender or bleeding gums
- Red or swollen gums
- Bad breath that persists and won’t go away
- Gums that have receded or teeth that appear longer than normal
- Teeth that have shifted position
- Loose teeth
- Painful chewing
- An abscess below your gumline
