Use it or Lose it!

affordable dentistry

As we quickly approach the new year, many of you are focusing on choosing or renewing your health care plans for 2015. We know this could be a stressful process, but don’t disregard your dental insurance. Have you used all of your benefits before they expire at the end of 2014?

There are a few things to look into before your remaining benefits go to waste:

Maximums

Most insurance plans have a maximum value that they are willing to cover in a year. The average maximum is around $1,000. If this maximum coverage isn’t used by the end of the year, it doesn’t always roll over and your benefit is then lost.

Flexible Spending Accounts

If you have a flexible spending account, it’s important to be aware. These are usually set up by your employer and allow you to place a portion of your pre-tax salary into it. If all of your flexible spending funds are not used this year, there is a chance it won’t be there next year. Why let that money disappear? Take advantage and get the treatment you need before it may be gone for good!

Other Benefits

Lastly, ask your dental insurance provider to see if any of your benefits will be cut or reduced in 2015. It’s possible that your provider may change or eliminate your benefits, so take advantage of them this year while they’re still yours.

We highly encourage you to take the time to understand your dental insurance plan. Take advantage of what you have before it’s potentially taken away come 2015.

We offer a complimentary new patient evaluation and treatment consultation, where we will gladly run an insurance check and break down your benefits for you.

There are only a few weeks left of this year, so call us today to schedule your complimentary evaluation, and we will do whatever it takes to get you the treatment you need by the end of 2014! 954 603-8728
